The Sri Maha Bodhi precincts in Anuradhapura was chock-a-block with pilgrims on Saturday and yesterday with a large number of students sitting this year’s GCE Ordinary Level examination from Anuradhapura district and outstations. Long lines of students were seen awaiting their turn to ascend the flight of steps to the Bodhi maluwa to participate in religious observances and make vows for their success.
