The body of a young woman was fished out from the Panadura estuary yesterday, Police said.
Police she had come to the estuary with someone known to her, who had robbed her off her jewellery and pushed her in the water The body is lying at the Panadura Hospital mortuary, awaiting identification.
Panadura police is investigating.
