Ground frost is likely in some places in the Nuwara-Eliya district during the early hours, the Met. Department said.
However, mainly fair weather will prevail over most parts of the island while a few light showers are expected over the Eastern coastal areas.
Misty conditions can be expected in some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces in the morning, the Met. Department said.
