A 1,200 CC high-speed Ducati motorbike was taken into Police custody yesterday.
It is alleged the high-speed motorbike was imported with the aid of a former political bigwig’s son, and was used for alleged underworld operations.
The Ducati was found in Keselwatta, Colombo.
One arrest was made in regard to ownership of the motorbike.
It is illegal to ride a bike of that speed in Sri Lanka.
