Kurunegala Municipal Council workers are protesting outside the Kurunegala Police Station, against what they term police inaction.
The workers allege Police have taken no action against a person who assaulted a female municipal council worker five days ago.
They say the Police have taken no action in this regard despite the incident being reported five days ago.
