Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday said he aims at toppling the government next year.
He stressed that he did not intend to become head of the state again. He said he can rule the country without being its head.
Rajapaksa at a meeting with a group of foreign journalists in Colombo had said a 2 majority enjoyed by the government in parliament may change in future
“This government can not go forward as disputes have surfaced between SLFP and UNP members in the government,” he said
