Sri Lankan Ambassador to Nepal W. Swarnalatha Perera invited Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to visit the South Asian island nation to mark the 60th anniversary of bilateral relations between the two countries in 2017.
During a meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister in Singha Durbar of Kathmandu today, PM Dahal said that Nepal and Sri Lanka share unity and old cultural and religious relations.
Thanking Sri Lanka for the support it had provided in post-earthquake reconstruction in Nepal, Dahal expressed interest in working together for development and prosperity of SAARC and South Asian regions, a statement issued by the PM’s Secretariat said.
