The Yakkalamulla MoH office sealed a retail store selling food unfit for human consumption.
Public Health Medical Officer (Administration) Sisira Kumara of Yakkalamulla MoH said they found 20 kg of expired Soya meat, 5 kg of rotten dry fish, expired snacks, beverages and biscuits.
Meanwhile, in a raid at Thalagamapala, two other stores were identified and prosecuted on label regulations offences.
The inspection was headed by Public Health Medical Officer (Administration) Sisira Kumara of Yakkalamulla, along with PHIs Neil Ranasinghe, Achinta Samarasinghe, G.H. Pilan.
The suspects will be produced before court on January 5.
