A tipper carrying sand toppled off the Chenkalady-Badulla Highway at Koduwamadu in Karadiyanaru, this morning (22).
Police said the excessive speed the vehicle was travelling at was cause for the accident.
The driver had escaped unhurt. Karadiyanaru Police is investigating.
