China hopes to invest USD 5 billion in next 3 - 5 years at the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Hambantota, Chinese Ambassador Yi Xianliang said at the opening of the SEZ this morning.
He said the SEZ with China would generate 100, 000 jobs for the people of the area.
