Wattala Magistrate Court ordered that the Indian wife of UNP Provincial councillor Randeer Rodrigo remain in remand custody until October 31 for her connection with the Divulapitiya shootout.
The suspect, Harjot Kaur and her husband Randeer Rodrigo were arrested by the Wattala Police yesterday during a shootout between the Special Task Force (STF) and an armed criminal group at Henegedara, in Divulapitiya.
Five other suspects were taken into custody while one suspect was killed in the incident.
