Three members of Awa group has been taken into custody on a tip-off yesterday allegedly hatching two persons near Naachchiamman Temple in Jaffna police division on January 15th by officers of Jaffna Crime Division.
The police have taken two swards, which allegedly used for the crime into custody while having the suspects’ possession.
The suspects have been remanded till today for an identification parade when they were produced before Jaffna Magistrate Court.
The Jaffna police are conducting further investigations.
