A manager of a hotel in Embilipitiya was released on a bail of Rs. 100,000 by Embilipitiya Magistrate K. P. R. L. Vidanagama. He was charged for serving a chicken curry with live worms to those attending a wedding ceremony in Embilipitiya.
The incident was brought to the notice of the PHI at Embilipitiya Urban Council Harsha Abeysinghe by a doctor who attended the wedding.
The case is to be heard on February 1.
