Sarungal to fly soon

Nalaka Withanage’s latest cinematic venture ‘Sarungal’ is unspooling in theaters these days. Directed and scripted by Withanage, the film is screening in MPI circuit cinemas. The story of the film deals with the difference between the fantasy side of romance and its reality. It revolves around the lives of four characters portrayed by Charith Abeysinghe, Chamathka Lakmini, Saranga Dissasekara and Shalika Edirisinghe. Other roles are played by Sooriya Dayaruwan, Janaka Ranasinghe, Chinthaka Peiries and Suneth Malsiripura. Kelum Udawawala and Pathum Ekanayake are the assistant directors. Umariya Sinhawansha and Bachi Susan have rendered their voices for the songs. Aruna Shantha handled the make up department. Manjula Kumaratunga is the cinematographer while Ranga Dassanayake was the music director. Cats Institute is in charge of the publicity of the project
