Gayan Kulawansha Kulatissa was released on a cash bail of Rs. 10,000 and two sureties of Rs. 200,000 each. SLPP Colombo Municipal Council’s Kulatissa Deeganage was also accused of forcibly entering the Ceylon Petroleum Cooperation premises and behaving in an unruly manner creating unrest. He is out on bail.

On a previous occasion, the Colombo Crime Division informed the court that councillor Kulatissa's action was the main cause of the clash at the CPC premise on October 28.
