A man who appeared in the Tangalle Magistrate’s Court as a lawyer and cheated litigants of their money was remanded till February 13 by Tangalle Additional Magistrate Lilantha Tilan Warshavithana.
A resident of Medaketiya, Tangalle, the suspect had appeared for two cases at the Tangalle court.
Tangalle police are investigating.
