Hingurakgoda police had swooped in on a Facebook party held in Hingurakgoda last Saturday arresting 89 revellers with drugs and pills.
Officers had arrested eighty nine suspects including six women with illegal drugs in their possession at a party held at a hotel in Higurakgoda last Saturday (2).
The six women were from Kandy, Kurunegala, Trincomalee and Anuradhapura. Drugs such as Kerala cannabis, opium and Ice pills with Rs.128,000 in their possession was taken under police custody.
All suspects were produced before the Hingurakgoda Magistrate’s Courts yesterday.
