The Road Development Authority (RDA) has decided not to charge toll fees from vehicles plying on all Expressways from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm yesterday.
According to the Spokesman from the RDA, this decision was taken considering the islandwide police curfew which was imposed from 8.00 pm to 4.00 am. Meanwhile, all night mail trains scheduled for yesterday night have been cancelled.
Spokesman from Sri Lanka Railways Control room said that trains will not be operated owing to the Police curfew imposed from 8pm yesterday to 4am today.
