Chief Incumbent of the Maheyong Meditation Centre in Ayutthaya, Thailand, Ven. Prabhavana Kemaguna Nayake Thera, is to visit Sri Lanka today to observe Vesak celebrations.
The ven. nayake thera will also donate Buddha statues to local temples during his visit. Ven. Kemaguna Nayake Thera is to provide the opportunity for local devotees to be temporarily ordained in Thailand during this year.
The ven. nayake thera had so far sponsored temporary ordinations for 200 locals, in Ayutthaya, Thailand.
