Police have apprehended a total of 3,154 drunken drivers in the past weeks during its special island wide operations, Police said.
A special island-wide operation was commenced from July 5 to apprehend motorists driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police said 279 drunk drivers were nabbed during the 24 hours ended at 6am today.
