A 31-year-old man was injured following a shooting incident at Apaladeniya Junction in Kuliyapitiya.
The victim had been riding a motorbike when a group of unidentified persons had arrived in a van and had opened fire at him around 8.10 pm last night.
He was identified as Saman Chandana alias ‘Belek Saman’, a resident at Gomugamuwa, Apaladeniya.
The injured man was admitted to the Kuliyapitiya Hospital.
Kuliyapitiya Police are investigating.
