The Fundamental Rights petition filed by three voters seeking an interim order suspending the operation of the gazette notification to hold the election for the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha on October 11 was fixed for support for tomorrow by Supreme Court.
When the petition came up before Supreme Court two-judge-bench comprising Justice Justice S. Thurairaja and Justice Murdu Fernando, the matter was fixed for today since the bench was not properly constituted.
