Fifty nine suspects arrested by Galewela police last month with various intoxicants were produced before Dambulla Magistrate I.M.S.B. Illangasingha and fined Rs.330,000.
Thirty five of them were convicted for having illicit liquor, 16 for cannabis and eight for heroin.
