Officers attached to Police Narcotics Division at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) have apprehended 14 suspects who arrived from Chennai with gold weighing up to 4.7 kilograms worth over Rs.319 mn.
The suspects were aged between 30 and 50 and were residents of Colombo.
The suspects were handed over to Customs officers for further investigations by police narcotics officers.
