The President’s Media Division (PMD) yesterday has again warned the imposters, who in the guise of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s advisers exploiting or intimidating people for petty gain. In a statement the PMD said strict action will be taken against such individuals immediately.
The PMD said information had been received about a imposter who tried to intimidate a Principal of a popular school in Moratuwa claiming that he was an adviser to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. The Colombo Crimes Division has already commenced investigations into the incident. Some media too had reported the incident recently. The Presidential Secretariat called on the public not to fall prey to such fraudsters and report such incidents to Police without delay.
