Leading fashion retail organization, Fashion Bug continued the commemoration of its 25th anniversary by taking on and completing the task of renovating and furnishing Ward. No 5 of the Base Hospital in Diyathalawa. Following the renovation of the ward, Fashion Bug proceeded to donate a number of cupboards, tables, chairs, curtains, mattresses, air conditioners and sign boards to the hospital. The purpose of this project was to serve as a means of uplifting the health standards of the people of Diyathalawa and the surrounding area. “As a home-grown, purely Sri Lankan company, Fashion Bug has always striven to fulfill its social responsibilities over the course of its 25 years in existence. Following a survey, we saw that the Base Hospital in Diyathalawa was in dire need of renovation and we stepped in to take up the task. I’m very pleased with the efforts of the Fashion Bug team who saw this task completed in a timely and efficient manner.
