A sudden fire has broken out in a coconut cultivation in the Lelwalawatta area in Wanduramba.
Wanduramba Police said the fire broke out around 3.00 pm yesterday.
Wanduramba Police immediately responded to the incident and together with the employees of the Plantation Company managed the fire.
Around 2 acres of land has been destroyed by the fire.
Further investigations will be conducted.
