A meeting of the parliamentary group of the Government is scheduled to take place today, at the Presidential Secretariat .
The meeting will be chaired by the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa at 11am, to discuss about the government’s future plan and the proceedings of the House.
Meanwhile, the parliamentary group of the United National Party is also scheduled to convene today at evening under the patronage of party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe.
