The Court of Appeal today observed that there is no barrier to repatriate consignment of containers carrying waste materials which are currently being stored at Colombo Port and Katunayake Free Trade Zone.
Court of Appeal two-judge-bench comprising Justice (President) A.H.M.D. Nawaz and Justice Arjuna Obeysekara made this clarification following the Attorney General’s query whether an interim order which had been issued by Court of Appeal would hinder the repatriation process.
