Former Minister Harin Fernando yesterday apologized to Colombo Archbishop Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith for mispronouncing the Sinhala title of Archbishop as Adaradaguru.
Fernando was speaking at the Badulla district SJB electoral committee meeting at the Badulla postal department complex yesterday.
He said that he was taught by his parents to see truth as truth. Fernando said that he is not prepared to keep mum though certain elements are trying to sling mud at him.
