Former Sri Lanka Cricket board chairman Thilanga Sumathipala says it’s questionable as to why Cricketers are worried over former sports minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage’s allegation on match fixing in 2011 World Cup Final, if they are not involved in it.
“If the players are not involved in match fixing – why they are worried about it? If they are not involved in it, that statement will follow the necessary procedure. It is better to be patient without being panicked and tweeting about it. If you have not done any wrong you should not wear the hat” he said.
Hard to understand as to why certain memebers of the #2011 @cricketworldcup contingent are edgy and are rambling on twitter, given that they maintain they've committed no offence – @tsumathipala#SriLanka #Cricket #Colombo #ICC pic.twitter.com/f1eP3jfH7v
