Luxury cars were set on fire and vandalized at a Mercedes dealership in California, during protests over George Floyd’s death.

Protesters are reported to have vandalized a number of cars in the dealership using spray paint and setting fire to some.

A video showing a white police officer continuing to kneel on Mr Floyd’s neck even after he pleaded he could not breathe has triggered widespread protests across the US.

An official post-mortem examination has declared the death of George Floyd as a homicide.

The report said the 46-year-old had suffered a cardiac arrest while being restrained by Minneapolis police.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has vowed to use the military to end the unrest.
