A wild elephant has reportedly been knocked down by a tipper truck in the Hasalaka, Pallewatte area on the Mahiyanganaya – Kandy Road.
CCTV footage shows the elephant being knocked down and dragged a small distance by the tipper truck.
The incident is reported to have taken place on Sunday (06). (NewsWire)
