The annual donation of cricket equipments by the Ceylon Cricket Foundation to underprivileged schools was held recently under the patronage of Minister of Youth and Sports Namal Rajapaksa, with the participation of Sri Lanka Test and ODI captain Dimuth Karunaratne, former Test cricketers Nuwan Kulasekara, Chamara Kapugedera and members of the Foundation.
Founded in 2017 by former Sri Lankan first class cricketer & current Warwickshire county cricket club high performance coach Tharindu Perera, the Ceylon Cricket Foundation aspires to help turn the dreams of young Sri Lankan cricketers into reality; finding those hidden talents and giving them the chance to play, prosper and follow their dreams.
A massive Thank You to former England and World Cup Winner @lauramarsh7 for this kit donated to aspiring young cricketers to help them play and prosper. We really appreciate your support #everylittlehelps @ECB_cricket @WomensCricDay @CricketCeylon pic.twitter.com/RGOlQowIf7
