An individual has been arrested at Kahawatte over illegal possession of firearms, the Police Media Division said.
A foreign-manufactured revolver and a locally-manufactured revolver had been seized from the possession of the suspect (72).
He was to be produced before the Ratnapura Magistrate’s Court today.
Police are conducting investigations.
