The Government says the suspended repatriation of migrant workers, including lucrative charter flights, will commence very soon.
Repatriation was temporarily suspended after a spike in imported COVID-19 cases last week.
The suspension started on Saturday and authorities said that they are expecting to recommence the process in a few days.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry has rejected a request from tourism authorities to reopen the airports in Sri Lanka.
