The Colombo, Fort Police Station which was temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 is reopened this morning.
DIG Ajith Rohana said that the Police station resumed operations after fully disinfecting the station.
The station was closed temporarily after a Police officer of the Western Province Special Investigations Unit tested positive for COVID-19.
The Police said the Unit was located on the 2nd floor of the Fort Police.
Another 11 police officers of the same unit were sent to quarantine and they also underwent PCR tests.
