An invigilator who assisted a student in answering the A/L Engineering Technology paper was arrested by Wadduwa police on October 16.
The exam hall head had lodged a complaint with the police after noticing that the invigilator helping the girl to write answers at the examination hall of the Wadduwa Central College.
He is a resident of Malegama, Wadduwa, a teacher in a Panadura school.
The Head has informed the Commissioner General of Examinations about the incident, police said.
The suspect was to be produced before the Panadura Magistrate’s Court. Wadduwa Police are investigating.
