Health Ministry of Sri Lanka & COVID prevention task force have given the green-light to go ahead with Lanka Premier League 2020, Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa said.
“This is indicatory of the govts commitment to adapt to New Normal & return the country to normalcy whilst adhering to health guidelines” Sports Minister tweeted thanking President and Prime Minister.
According to Sri Lanka Cricket sources, tournament will be played only in Hambantota in a bio bubble.
Earlier, the 2nd half of the tournament was to be played in Kandy. (NewsWire)
