Showers or thundershowers will occur at most parts of the Island after 2.00 p.m., stated the Meteorology Department.
Fairly heavy showers above 75mm can be expected at some places in Southern, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces.
Showers will occur in coastal areas of the Western and Southern provinces in the morning.
General public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers
