Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Western, North-Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces and in Galle and Mathara districts after 2.00 p.m, stated the Meteorology Department.
Fairly heavy showers about 75mm can be expected at some places in the above area.
Light showers will occur in coastal areas of the Northern and the Eastern provinces in the morning.
General public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers
