Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and North-western provinces and in Galle and Mathara districts during the evening or night, stated the Meteorology Department.
Fairly heavy falls above 75 mm can be expected at some places.
A few showers will occur in Eastern, Northern, North-central and Uva provinces and in Mathale and Nuwara-eliya disthricts
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning.
