The total number of recoveries from COVID-19 in the country surpasses 86,000 mark as per the Epidemiology Unit’s tally. It is at 86,227 and there are only 2,410 active cases being treated in various hospitals across the country.
The total count of positive coronavirus cases found in Sri Lanka currently sits at 89,175.
The country has also witnessed 538 deaths from the virus.
