A teacher of Siri Mihindu Sunday School, Egodauyana, Moratuwa and Justice of Peace (Whole Island) and Sri Lanka Navy Officer Deshamanya Lieutenant Commander Lalinda Silva was awarded with the “Great Leaders Award-2021” by Indo–Sri Lanka Friendship Organization at BMICH.
This award was conferred on him in appreciation for outstanding leadership in social services of the country and for the splendid contribution towards mankind & the nation through his excellence, proficiency & simplicity.
Lalinda Silva is a product of Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa and completed his Masters and Bachelor Degrees in Logistics Management from reputed universities in the country. He is also a recipient of the Mahatma Gandhi Global Award in 2019 and Deshabandhu title in 2018.
