The Ministry of Health has taken steps to administer the first dose of Sinopharm vaccine to people over the age of 60 in Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara districts of the Western Province within the next three days, said Deputy Director General of Public Health, Specialist Dr.S.M. Arnold.
Accordingly, arrangements have been made to administer the vaccine at the vaccination centres organised by the Health Medical Officer’s Office. Hence, the public are advised to contact the Medical Health Officers of their respective areas and obtain information regarding the vaccination programme.
