Taipei:

The Taiwan Air Force has taken a brave stand against the treacherous activities of China. According to the Taiwan defence ministry, 19 warplanes, including nuclear-armed bombers, have taken off from Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone, located close to China.

China has claimed that Taiwan has created an air defense zone on Taiwan-controlled Pratas Island a year ago.

China has disputes with all neighbours including India

Apart from a long drawn out military confrontation with India at the LAC in Ladakh, China continues to rake up border disputes with all its neighbours.

China’s dispute with Taiwan, which it regards as a breakaway province, is particularly worrisome and problematic for peace and stability in the entire region.

Beijing has been rigorously violating Taiwan’s border as it claims full sovereignty over Taiwan, a democracy of almost 24 million people located off the southeastern coast of mainland China, despite the fact that the two sides have been governed separately for more than seven decades.
