Police has arrested two persons for assaulting a Public Health Inspector (PHI) in the Thimbiripokuna area in Giribawa Police Division.
When the PHI was on his way to a COVID19 patient’s residence , he had reportedly seen two arrived in motorcycle without masks.
The PHI had warned them and instructed to wear face mask.
The suspects had verbally abused the PHI and then had assaulted him.
Giribawa Police are conducting investigations.
