The Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of United Arab Emirates in Colombo, Humaid Altamimi, called on the Public Security Minister, Rear Admiral (Retired) Dr. Sarath Weerasekera at the ‘Suhurupaya’, Battaramulla on Thursday. Strengthening the longstanding ties between the UAE and Sri Lanka, extending bilateral support in the international arena, enhancing security cooperation and many other joint areas of the socio-economic and political realms were discussed at the meeting.
Public Security Ministry Senior Advisor Narada Samarasinghe and Coordinating Secretary to the Minister S.M. Ansar Moulana were present.
