INDvNZ T20I: India relieved, Chapman and Phillips returns

Jaipur:

Ravichandran Ashwin relieved India of the pressure that was building up with the partnership of Martin Guptill and Mark Chapman as he bowled the latter, followed by the Glenn Phillips.

Chapman garnered 63 runs off 50 balls against India with 6 fours and 2 maximums.

Ashwin is bowling a fantastic over as he bowls the carrom ball on off and Glenn Phillips fails to read it completely. Gets beaten on his defense as the ball whizzes past the outside edge. Struck on the back pad and Hawkeye confirms this would have crashed into the off-stump.

Kiwis have scored 123 after 15 overs at the loss of 3 wickets.

In a dream start for India, Blackcaps tumbled in the very start of the game when Mitchell was taken aback with Bhuvneshwar Kumar ball that demolished the middle stump.

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss in the homeland and chose to field first against Kiwis and this is proving to be a great decision in the jam-packed Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur.
