The Pakistan Army has started this fire in Seri area of Degwar sector of Poonch district. This is causing landmines to explode in Indian territory along the LoC. These mines had been laid by the Indian Army to prevent the infiltration of terrorists across the LoC.

Indian Army personnel are engaged in controlling the fire. The fire is also expected to destroy the equipment installed for monitoring the LoC.

The fire is so fierce that its flames are visible from many kilometers away. According to the sources, the terrorist masterminds sitting in Pakistan are in the process of infiltrating a large number of terrorists with the help of the Pakistan Army before snowfall starts.

Late on Tuesday evening, in the Degwar sector of Poonch district, Pakistani troops set fire to dry grass across the LoC, which has reached the advance posts of the Indian Army. Due to the fire, intermittent explosions are taking place in the landmines laid by the Indian Army to prevent infiltration of Pakistan-backed terrorists across the Line of Control (LoC).

On the other hand, the Indian Army personnel are keeping an eye on the LoC while overcoming the fire as well as understanding Pakistan’s intentions. The intelligence agencies had already informed the Indian Army that before the snowfall, Pakistan was on the verge of infiltrating a large number of terrorists across the Indian border. More than 250 Pakistan-backed terrorists are ready to infiltrate across the LoC.

On the other hand, an Indian Army official said that the damage caused by the fire can be assessed only after it is extinguished. He also assured that the Indian Army jawans were dealing with the situation and no terrorist would be allowed to infiltrate into Indian territory.
